Friendly reminder that they're cash only and take out only. I was expecting to dine in and wasn't prepared for cash only. Came in during a rush but they're quick. I got ground beef congee, wonton, beef stew, and stuff eggplant. Everything was fairly cheap for the amount I got. All the food were piping hot. The rice in the congee was fine and the congee itself wasn't too thick. There was a good amount of ground meat. The stuffed eggplants didn't come with rice. I wasn't sure what it was stuffed with but it was delicious. It had some black bean sauce with it.

Bought half duck $18 got home all that were in container was a drumstick covering 100% neck and bones . Called and they denied it. But said can bring back to trade. I don't live in neighboring so didn't. Used to think this place was ok but they are getting way too out of line.

My go-to place for congee on a weekend. My favorite is the pork and century egg congee and the fish congee, both with extra peanuts. You must get the fried dough to dip in the congee.
There was one time I ordered two different types of congee and the fried dough and they forgot to pack the fried dough. But overall, great place for congee and roasted meats.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shirley H.New York, NY137308921May 1, 2022
Don't think you can find another place this cheap and filling as here where each dish is $7 and it's packed AND delicious!
Personal fave was the eggplant and beef because it had a sweeter taste. The duck meat and fish was on the saltier spectrum. There's a lot of rice underneath cause you'll need it to mix with the saucy mains.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Bonnie X.New York, NY162152Apr 2, 2023
Only ordered takeout. Good cheap eats for family gatherings. Not major complaints of the food. Staple.

I come here for their delicious congee and salted fried bread (to dip in congee). I usually order take out of the combo beef/squid/pork congee and its still hot and delicious when I take it home. I eat it whenever I feel sick and it just warms me up.

I'm a regular here at this restaurant and the food never ceases to disappoint. I always get their congee combo of beef, squid, and pork to go. It comes out fresh and hot every time even by the time I get back home. The congee here is really flavorful. Everything else on the menu is pretty affordable!

Oohhh yay for roast bbq meats!!!
I've been craving roast duck over rice lunch box!
Came here to grab quick lunchbox to go while shopping in the markets nearby. During quarantine many places were close or too far for me to venture out (I didn't want to go too far from home) so I definitely missed the Chinese rotisserie meats. Lines can stretch out the door but it does move quickly (however, no one was social distancing 6ft).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 9, 2018
Best authentic Cantonese restaurant in Brooklyn!
They used to be located in Chinatown, Manhattan and my mom always got me roasted pork noodle soup when I was little. They moved to the Brooklyn location years ago and the food is still amazing!
Definitely recommend:
salt and pepper porkchop
Any noodle dish, soup and stir fried
Stir fried lobster
Roasted pork
They take cash only and I don't think they do delivery.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
